Legendary professional wrestler and philanderer Ric Flair made a surprise appearance on AEW television this week, and told reporters at a press conference immediately afterward that he would be the company’s top champion by year’s end.

“Mark my words, I will be AEW world champ by December,” said Flair during the press conference, while AEW boss Tony Khan visibly cringed nearby.

Flair added that “the Nature Boy is just getting started, baby,” even though Flair has retired from wrestling on eleven separate occasions.

After several minutes of red-faced wooing, Flair added that “2024 will be the year of Flair” before being helped backstage and administered oxygen and a mojito.
