Professional sports-entertainer Austin Theory has enjoyed a meteoric rise in World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), but his glory days may be numbered after being sneak-attacked by his longtime nemesis, Dallas Hypothesis. 

The bad blood between Theory and Hypothesis goes back nearly a decade to their rivalry in Texas Championship Wrestling, the independent promotion run by retired wrestler Garland Presupposition. 

The duo were not always enemies — they were a popular tag team called The Corpus Christi Conjecture — but they had a terrible falling-out after Hypothesis had an alleged affair with Theory’s beautiful valet, Abeline Assumption. 

“Austin Theory and Dallas Hypothesis truly dislike another,” writes Texan wrestling journalist Houston Proposition. “The only thing they agree on is their mutual hatred for crooked indy wrestling promoter Amarillo Guesswork — and, of course, Ian Rotten.
