World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) made the landmark announcement this week that its flagship program, Monday Night Raw, will be moving to Netflix, allowing fans to receive DVDs of the program in the mail.

Starting in 2025, viewers will be able to put Monday Night Raw in their Netflix “queue,” and the latest weekly instalment will be sent by express mail once they have returned the DVD of the previous week’s show.

“Quite frankly, we believe this is the future of sports entertainment and things of that nature,” said WWE honcho Vince McMahon during a press conference from his golden castle in Riyadh.

McMahon said he was being quite frank when he added that the move to Netflix DVD rentals is “best for business.”

Meanwhile, rival wrestling promotion AEW announced today its programming will soon be available on MySpace.
