Fans of sports entertainment are abuzz this week in anticipation of WWE No Mercy, which will feature two bouts being hyped as “WrestleMania-worthy,” plus seven others that would probably make for a half-decent episode of Sunday Night Heat.

Fans will think they are watching “The Grandest Stage of Them All” when Braun Strowman and Brock Lesnar finally collide, and will think they’re watching a now-defunct B-tier television program when The Miz squares off against Jason Jordan.

It will feel like the “Showcase of the Immortals” when John Cena and Roman Reigns go head-to-head after weeks of trash talk, and feel like In Your House 12 the rest of the time.

Fans are optimistic that the showdown between Neville and Enzo Amore might be Shotgun Saturday Night-worthy, and that Bray Wyatt and Finn Balor might put on a Sunday Night Heat-worthy display.

Even the most hopeful pundits, however, fear that the women’s fatal five-way match at may only be WCW Worldwide-worthy.
