Longtime fans of professional wrestling may recognize the blond wrestler in this photograph, but only true die-hards know that this stunning young man from Hollywood would later achieve even bigger stardom in WWE.

No, that’s not referee Charles Robinson, although that’s a decent guess. 

Barry Windham? Nope, afraid not. 

The man in the photograph went on to “stun” the world of professional wrestling when he later reinvented himself as “Waylon Mercy.”

That’s right, the blond up-and-comer in this photo is none other than Dan Spivey (who later went on to portray Mr. America).
