Following the botched final moments of the Academy Awards — in which La La Land was mistakenly named Best Picture instead of Moonlight — the organizers of the Academy Awards announced this morning that the prize should have actually gone to Scooby Doo and WWE: Curse of the Speed Demon.

A mix-up of envelopes (believed to be caused by Russian hackers and/or Sin Cara) led to a confusing ending to the Oscars, which was remedied this morning when the cast of Moonlight presented the award to The Miz, Shaggy, Lana, Scooby Doo, and other stars of the film.

Accepting the award, spokesperson Rusev said: “Thank you, idiot Americans, for this award. We totally matchka’d La La Land and Moonlight.”

Curse of the Speed Demon also took home honors for Best Actor (Sheamus), Best Performance by a Bull in a Supporting Role (El Torito), and Best Documentary.

The animated film, co-directed by Stephen Spielberg and Ridley Scott, chronicles the harrowing true story of a crime-sleuthing dog and his hippy friends as they unravel the mystery of a nefarious drag racer.

The makers of Moonlight and La La Land graciously acknowledged the winner in a joint statement: “Clearly, Curse of the Speed Demon was the best film of the year,” reads the statement. “We are just honored to have been nominated alongside it.”
