A rarely seen submission hold called the Figure-Five Leglock has been deemed “too complicated” and “more trouble than it’s worth” by wrestling experts.

“It took me three hours to learn how to apply the damned thing,” said wrestling legend Ric Flair, who is known as a master of the significantly-less-complicated Figure-Four Leglock.

“Then once I figured it out, I think it hurt me more than the guy I tried it on.”

Flair’s daughter Charlotte, meanwhile, recently tangled with Bray Wyatt to create an unprecedented and preposterous Figure-16 leglock.

Also unpopular with the wrestlers: the collar-and-elbow-and-ankle-and-pelvis-and-sternum tie-up.
