World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) announced this morning the signing of 15 up-and-coming rookies, and then moments later released seven of them “effective immediately.”

“The amazing young talent we have signed today represent the future of sports entertainment, quite frankly” said WWE honcho Vince McMahon during a press conference this morning.

Then, during a second hastily assembled second press conference, McMahon said he was “disappointed, quite frankly” in a number of the new signees, and wished them “the best on their future endeavours and things of that nature.”

The seven rookie talent hired and fired today are:

  • Brydon Xander
  • Stryke Vortekz
  • Crystal Shanda Leer
  • Pron Prakker
  • Nicholas
  • Team BowWow (Clinton Washington and Orlando Tallahassee)

Experts believe the seven rookies had the shortest WWE lifespans since Raw Underground.
