Fans of professional wrestling are abuzz this week after the surprise return to AEW of wrestling legend Sting, who has returned to the ring in order to tell his fans about the opportunities of a reverse mortgage.
Sting (real name Gordon Sumner) shocked onlookers when he appeared — seemingly materializing out of thin air — to tell fans of his generation that they can convert some of their home equity into cash.
“I wouldn’t recommend something I don’t believe in,” Sting told the audience, who have matured over the decades from rowdy young fans into empty-nester retirees.
Sting, 77, says he returned to the returned to the ring because he wanted to wrestle in front of his great grandkids.
