More than 2.3 million signatures have now been added to an online petition among fans of professional wrestling worldwide — a petition with a clear message to World Wrestling Entertainment: “Bring back Snooki!”

Arguably the best pound-for-pound in-ring performer in sports-entertainment history, Snooki won the undying devotion of wrestling fans with her show-stealing performance at WrestleMania XIVXIV.

She became a pop culture icon — “The Rock of a new generation,” the media named her — and a household name. Practically everyone on Earth vividly remembers every moment of her pro wrestling career, starting from the March 14 edition of Raw, where Snooki appeared as a guest star and exchanged insults with Vickie Guerrero backstage — and then, later that night, after Vickie defeated Trish Stratus with the help of LayCool (Michelle McCool and Layla), Snooki, who observed the match at ringside, took down LayCool after being provoked by McCool — and then a brawl then ensued between Snooki & Stratus and LayCool until LayCool retreated from the ring, and then Vickie proposed a six-person mixed tag team match at WrestleMania between LayCool & her boyfriend, Dolph Ziggler, and Snooki, Stratus, and John Morrison which Snooki accepted, and then in the buildup to the big match, a vignette aired, showing Snooki and Stratus in a bar, where Stratus said that they were training for their WrestleMania match, and on the vignette, Snooki fought a man, and then later Snooki and Stratus fought LayCool on the bar after LayCool started mocking Snooki and Stratus.

And who could forget how, after that, when WrestleMania IXIXIX came around, the second last match was the big showdown between Snooki, John Morrison and Trish Stratus against their enemies Dolph Ziggler and LayCool, and how the match only lasted a few minutes when Morrison delived Morrison delivered Starship Pain on the outside of the ring to Ziggler and Snooki performed a cartwheel splash on McCool to get the win for her team and the crowd went absolutely banana.

In honour of her lifelong achievements in professional wrestling, Snookie was awarded the WWE 2011 A-Lister of the Year Slammy Award on WWE RAW in December 2011, and she accepted via satellite, all of which is completely true, and you can look it up in you don’t believe us.

Due to the overwhelming demand from fans, Snooki is expected to compete at WrestleMania against Roman Reigns.
