They say “anything can happen in the WWE,” and boy did that old adage prove true last night when — get this — a pair of rival sports-entertainers were ordered to join forces as a tag team!

Yes, you read that correctly. By decree of WWE honcho Vince McMahon, arch-nemeses Albert Jerry (AJ) Styles and Seth Rollins were required to temporarily put their differences aside in order to face Bobby Lashley and Sacha Baron Corbin.

“Will Styles and Rollins be able to work together as a team?!” hollered incredulous commentator Michael Cole, adding that he has “never seen anything like this” in his life. “We’ll find out after this commercial break!”

Of course, due to their underlying animosity toward one another, Styles and Rollins were unable to emerge victorious from the match, because their lack of coordination allowed Dasher to score a surprise roll-up pin.

Fans who witnessed the unlikely tag-team union of bitter enemies will forever cherish the memory of the once-in-a-lifetime happening.
