As a tribute to the late heavy metal icon Lemmy of Motorhead, WWE announced today that Hunter Hearst Helmsley’s entrance song, “The Game,” will be performed at WrestleMania this spring by pop star Justin Bieber.

Although an Helmsley’s opponent has not yet been determined (because 93 percent of the WWE roster is currently on the injured list), it has been confirmed that Bieber will serenade Helmsley’s entrance and be in his corner for the match — possibly his partner in a tag match.

Footage of Bieber rehearsing the song leaked online today reveals that he will perform the song with slightly modified lyrics:

“It’s all about the game, baby, ooh,

And how you play it.

It’s all about love, baby,

Now let’s display it.

Try to figure out what my move’s going to be!

Come on over, babygirl, and you’ll see.

I am the game, and you can play me, girl, oooh, girl, baby, yeah.”

Helmsley, who was a friend and admirer of Lemmy’s, personally hand-picked Bieber to perform the song, insisting that the pop idol is “the next best thing” to Lemmy.

Wrestling fans have greeted the news with mixed reactions; while many believe Bieber is no substitute for Lemmy, many others are just relieved they won’t be seeing Machine Gun Kelly or Flo Rida at WrestleMania.
