Fans of sports-entertainment will be sports-entertained out the proverbial wazoo this spring when World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) delivers its first three-night WrestleMania pay-per-view.

The 72-hour spectacular will be held at the AT&T Stadium in Dallas, where roughly 100,000 parched, sunburnt fans will rasp desperately for a just sip of water during much of the event.

WrestleMania will open on Friday April 1 (which is known in the wrestling business as April Marks’ Day), with a 13-man over-the-top-rope battle royal featuring every member of the current NXT roster — the winner of which will earn a spot in the following day’s battle royal.

The first night of WrestleMania will be main-evented by the much-anticipated “Once in a Lifetime” showdown between John Cena and The Rock.

Night 2 of WrestleMania will see the much-anticipated return of Nathan Jones, in an hour-long Iron Man Match against fourth-generation superstar EC4.

WrestleMania will culminate, of course, on Sunday night, with the main-event showdown between Roman Reigns and his estranged father Luther Reigns, in a “Head of the Table” haircut match.
