World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) dropped a bombshell today with the announcement that, if the Undertaker wins his much-hyped rematch against Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam, his legendary WrestleMania streak will become unbroken.

During a press conference this morning at WWE’s Connecticut headquarters, company Chairman Vince McMahon told reporters that “the streak may not be over after all!”

According to McMahon, The Undertaker’s loss at WrestleMania 30 will be “stricken from the record” if he defeats Lesnar this Sunday, and his WrestleMania record “will be adjusted to 23-0.”

While wrestling fans and pundits are in near-universal agreement that the new stipulation makes absolutely no sense, they also conceded that making sense is not something they’ve come to expect from WWE anyway.

McMahon also announced today that an upcoming match between The Big Show and Ryback will be a hair-versus-hair match.
