Nearly three decades late, Shawn Michaels has finally repaid Brutus Beefcake $168 for the damages Michaels caused to the window of Beefcake’s Barber Shop.

Beefcake grudgingly accepted the money, uttering that the repayment “took long enough,” and then used the money to repay his longstanding debt to Stamford Window Repair, Inc.

The long delay in repayment was the result of several legal battles over who was actually at fault for the shattering of the window.

Lawyers for Michaels insisted that it was technically Marty Jannetty who broke the window, because it was him who careened head-first through it. Eventually, however, the court decreed that Michaels was at fault.

In related news, Jimmy Snuka was once ordered to pay $38 for damages he caused to Piper’s Pit.
