In a startling reversal of her staunchly anti-wrestling stance, television legal commentator Nancy Grace has announced that she will challenge for the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) Divas Championship.

The controversial host of a self-titled bully pulpit on CNN has vowed to defeat newly crowned champion Paige at this Sunday’s Extreme Rules pay-per-view.

Grace, who has lambasted professional wrestling in the past as a degraded and drug-fuelled spectacle, says she will “show those bombshells and bimbos how a real woman fights.”

Wrestling fans have reacted with unanimous terror at the prospect of seeing Grace in spandex, though many concede that the Divas division could use a new monster heel.

Diamond Dallas Page, whom Grace blindsided on-air with badgering and accusations following the Ultimate Warrior’s untimely death, admitted that Grace is “not to be trifled with.”

Grace has reportedly been training daily — perfecting a finishing move dubbed Swift Justice — and has already far surpassed the in-ring skills of most cast members of Total Divas.
