Professional sports-entertainment play-by-play man Michael Cole could not believe his eyes last night, nor on any other night he has been employed by World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE).

“I can’t believe my eyes,” Cole exclaimed, thrice, during his commentary on WWE television this week, and last week, and the previous week, and so forth in a cascade of months, years and decades.

Cole suffers from a rare disorder that psychiatrists calls Myopic Ocular Incredulity, which seems to particularly afflict pro wrestling commentators and celebrity judges on programs called [Someplace]’s Got Talent.

The condition appears to be hereditary, and Cole is reportedly “couldn’t believe his eyes” when he read that it could afflict his only baybay, Adam.
