If you’re a fan of professional wrestling, you’ve probably been wondering for some time now why popular WWE superstar Seth Rollins makes his entrance accompanied by a song that begins with a person screaming “Bernie Town!”

A team of investigative journalists at Kayfabe News have spent months attempting to decipher this riddle, and we believe we have finally cracked the code.

Our first task was, by process of elimination, to prove what the voice is not hollering. While some people have misheard the epithet as “Hermit Now” or “Furnace Brown” or “Burn it Down,” each of these is obviously wrong.

We confirmed that the voice screams “Bernie Town,” which is a reference to the several occasions that Senator Bernie Sanders has visited Rollins’ hometown of Davenport, Iowa.

Rollins, an avowed democrat and longtime supporter of Sanders, lobbied in 2015 that Davenport be temporarily renamed “Bernie Town” as a tribute to his political hero. Puzzle solved!

Our investigative team has not, however, determined why Sheamus’ theme song contains the words: “It’s a shameful thing, lobster head.”
