Due to the extra airtime allotted to this Sunday’s pay-per-view event, World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) is now billing SummerSlam as the “Biggest Part of the Summer, Fall, and Early Winter.”

The original three-hour runtime was extended to four, and WWE announced this morning that it is adding an additional 3,044 hours to accommodate the theatrical entrances of Finn Balor and Shinsuke Nakamura, which means the event will end at roughly midday on Dec. 23. 

“We encourage all fans attending SummerSlam in person to dress in layers in preparation for the changing seasons,” reads a press release issued this morning by WWE. 

“Food and water will be dropped from the rafters at various intervals, and each audience member will be equipped with a catheter. The doors will be locked from the outside.”

In addition to the nine main-card matches, SummerSlam will feature 17 pre-show matches, an entire Featherweight Tournament to crown the inaugural 105 Live Champion, the recording of a full season of Total Divas, and one 38-hour segment in which Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins will deliberate over whether or not they should fist-bump.

Shortly after the conclusion of SummerSlam in December, the pre-show for WrestleMania will begin.
