Ember Moon is making a stellar name for herself in NXT, but the second-generation sports-entertainer fears she may never replicate the meteoric success of her father, Max.

The elder Moon became one of WWE’s greatest superstars in the 1990s, defeating luminaries of the squared circle including Terry Taylor, Repo Man, and even Skinner (in The Wrestling Observer’s 1993 Match of the Year, with an unprecedented 11-star rating).

Despite her success on the NXT women’s roster — including a championship win over Vacant (daughter of the multi-championship-winning WWE Superstar of the same name) — Ember may never achieve a victory as impressive her father’s triumph over “The Genius” Lanny Poffo.

Max Moon, whose induction into the WWE Hall of Fame is strangely overdue, sadly passed away in a bizarre 1994 jetpack accident on the way back to his home planet.

Ember is hoping to soon prove herself on WWE’s main roster against Mandy Rose (daughter of “Playboy” Buddy Rose).
