Dolph Ziggler was beaming with pride yesterday when, after months of puppy training, he finally got his dog, a scrappy terrier named Spirit, to #heel.

The duo pranced through a Florida park in perfect lockstep, Ziggler proud to show off his puppy’s newfound obedience on the leash.

Ziggler said it took persistence and patience — personal qualities he honed while teaching difficult choreography to an all-male cheerleading squad in his younger days.

Ziggler said he hasn’t been this proud since he taught Vicki Guerrero to be polite by saying “excuse me.”
