After months of uncertainty and speculation, the day that former WWE superstar CM Punk will make his much-anticipated MMA fighting debut in the UFC Octagon has been confirmed.

Saturday. It’ll almost certainly happen on a Saturday night, sources confirm.

Or infuriatingly early on a Sunday if you live in Europe.

For fans in Australia, it happened last Thursday. Punk lost.
