Narrowly beating out “Bulls on Parade” and “Killing in the Name,” the all-time best some by rap-rockers Rage Against the Machine has been crowned after a worldwide poll, and the winner is the D-Generation X (D-X) theme!

The song, “Break it Down,” earned a commanding 83 percent of votes on a recent online poll that received more than 2 million responses.

Rage Against the Machine originally released “Break it Down” as a B-side to their acclaimed self-titled first album. The song achieved moderate chart success at first, reaching number #22 on the Billboard chart, but its popularity skyrocketed when sports-entertainers D-Generation X (DX) adopted the song as their theme.

DX, a group of immature bullying jock douchebags who made dick jokes to the delight of millions,  made their ring entrances to the RATM song during their heyday during WWE’s Attitude Era, and then during their unprecedented reunions in 2005, 2006, 2008, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2015 (twice), 2016, 2017, 2018 (thrice) and 2019.

The full top-ten Rage Against the Machine songs poll results are as follows:
