CM Punk is aiming to put on a stellar performance during his WrestleMania match against The Undertaker, in the hope that a talent scout from TNA Wrestling will be impressed and offer him a job with the rival organization.

“Punk has always seen WWE as just a stepping stone to bigger and better things with TNA,” said an anonymous source close to the up-and-coming wrestler.

“A win at WrestleMania could lead to the TNA contract he has always dreamed of.”

Like all professional wrestlers, CM Punk sees performing at WrestleMania as a important way to “pay dues” in the wrestling business, en route to real stardom in TNA.

CM Punk’s WrestleMania opponent, The Undertaker, is also reportedly looking at the match as a positive career move, since it could push him closer to his ultimate goal of wrestling Kevin Steen in Ring of Honor.
