AEW announces 47 new signings
Burgeoning professional wrestling promotion AEW (American Extreme Wrestling) has been on a hiring spree in recent days, adding 47 new talents to its roster yesterday alone.
Much like AEW’s previous hiring sprees, it includes a number of talent recently employed by rival organization World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), though the new cohort not quite as buzz-worthy as previous recruitment coups.
Among the performers who are now “All Elite” are:
- Bull Buchanan
- Funaki
- Shane Thorne
- Shorn Mane
- Mordecai
- Leilani Kai
- Mark “The Mortician” Calaway (see video below)
- Oney Lorcan
- Lonely Orca
- Dexter Lumis
- Snooki
- An inanimate carbon rod
- James Corden
- Guy Fieri
