Despite his protestations to the contrary, wrestling legend Hulk Hogan is rumored to be showing signs of male pattern baldness, according to celebrity gossip site TMZ.

“The Hulkster is reportedly thinning out a bit on top,” TMZ reported in one of its most shocking and viral exposés. “It may not be noticeable from afar, but Hogan’s hair is getting slightly wispy and sparse.”

The rumor is difficult to confirm, since Hogan typically wears a bandana on his head. But the shoulder-length golden locks that protrude from the back of the bandana seem to indicate a lush, full head of hair underneath, contrary to the rumor.

Hogan, a long-time archetype of male strength and virility, has dismissed the accusations of hair loss, calling them “total B.S., brother.”

“Could a balding dude grow a killer handlebar moustache like this one?” he asked when pressed for comment. “I don’t think so, brother.”

Asked if he would remove his bandana to put the rumors to rest, Hogan instead tore off his t-shirt and performed several bodybuilding poses before excusing himself to use the restroom.
