Fans of professional wrestling are abuzz today after new names were added to the roster of Superstars® on WWE.com, including AJ “Fashion Sense” Stylish and Shiny McNamara.
Though details are scant, it is believed these are the wrestlers formerly known as AJ Styles and Shinsuke Nakamura, whose rumored signing from New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) been the subject of much giddy online chatter and questionable journalism.
Also added to the WWE roster page today was a wrestler named “Festus 2.0,” believed to be the man formerly known as The Big LG, Big XLG, Deacon Deville, Director of Chaos, Doc Galllows, Dorian Deville, Freakin’ Deacon, Imposter Kane, Johnny 99, Justice Dalton, Keith Hanson, Luke Gallows, The Masked Assassin, and 37 other names.
Although it was initially believed that Machine Gun Karl Anderson had also been signed to WWE, it turned out to be rapper Machine Gun Kelly, who will square off against Kevin Owens at WrestleMania in a dance-off.
According to leaked documents, the newcomers will form a faction called The Projectile Club.
