Fans of professional sports-entertainment are gearing up for the raucous annual Raw after WrestleMania, and the excitement will continue as the pre-show for WrestleMania 36 will commence immediately after Raw goes off the air.

Broadcast journalists Sam Roberts, Renee Young and Lita are already sitting at a table high atop the Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, discussing the expected highlights of a largely yet-to-be announced crowd.

“This is going to be historic!” hollered Roberts. “In just 364 days, fans are going to blow the figurative roof off this stadium!”

Some fans have complained that tonight is “too soon” for the WrestleMania 36 pre-show, since WrestleMania 35 wrapped up in the wee hours of last night after a record-setting 17-hour broadcast.

But WWE has already announced several matches for the pre-show, including:

  • Batista vs. Kurt Angle in a “Loser Must Come Out of Retirement” match
  • Zack Ryder vs. Curt Hawkins (who lost their Tag Team Championships to the Hardy Boyz as part of a Make-A-Wish granting this afternoon)
  • Ronda Rousey vs. Charlotte Flair vs. Becky Lynch, for the 2.7 million fans who fell asleep before their WrestleMania main-event started

The pre-show for WrestleMania 36 will also, starting this July, include the pre-pre-show for WrestleMania 37.
