Longtime fans of professional sports-entertainment remember Nicholas the pint-sized co-holder of the WWE Tag Team Championships with Braun Strowman, but they may be shocked to learn that the former wunderkind is now a middle-aged man.

Nicholas (SURNAME UNKNOWN) skyrocketed to fame after winning the tag belts during his debut match — at WrestleMania, no less — but was then suspended after failing a WWE Wellness Policy Test (he tested positive for Flintstone’s Chewable Vitamins).

After stepping out of the spotlight, Nicholas distanced himself from the wrestling world. After a brief foray into mixed martial arts, Nicholas retired from combat sports after sustaining a boo-boo to his tum-tum.

Over the years that followed, Nicholas appeared sporadically at wrestling conventions, signing autographs for the few fans who recognized him. His once boyish looks, which made him a literal babyface, had faded into a leathery, wrinkled visage.

After appearing at an independent wrestling event inebriated and stumbling, Nicholas moved in with fellow veteran Diamond Dallas Page, who helped the former star give up his five-pack-a-day Skittles habit and shed more than 200 excess pounds.

Braun Strowman has publicly dismissed rumors of an upcoming reunion with Nicholas, though WWE is advertising a “mystery guest partner” for Strowman at the company’s next event in Saudi Arabia, titled The Greatestest WrestleMania Ever.
