Kevin Federline — or K-Fed, to his millions of enduringly loyal fans — is one of the most widely beloved crossover sports-entertainers to be inducted into the prestigious WWE Hall of Fame.

But an angry mob of embittered fans of Federline’s lesser-known ex-wife, songstress Bridget “Britney” Spears, is demanding Federline be stripped of the honor.

Federline, as most “smart fans” of professional wrestling know, is arguably the greatest celebrity crossover into professional wrestling of all time, thanks largely to his genre-defining feud with John Cena in 2006.

During his WWE Hall of Fame induction speech, Federline spoke glowingly his then-wife Spears, who achieved middling chart success with teen-pop ditties including “Baby One More Time,” “Toxic,” “Oops I Did it Again,” and “With My Baby Tonight.”‘

Wrestling fans are splitting into two camps — #TeamBritney and #TeamKFed — with the majority of fans joining the latter, rallying in support of the WWE legend.
