It seems Curt Hawkins’ luck may have finally turned around, who has followed a winless 2018 with a thus-far-undefeated streak in 2019.

Granted, the year is still young, but Hawkins is optimistic that his current lossless “streak will continue for the next 364 days and beyond.”

The past year was a tough one for Hawkins, who wrestled in — and lost — more than 220 matches, setting an all-time winless record in WWE, not counting “Iron” Mike Sharpe.

“I’ve been totally unbeatable all year,” Hawkins boasted shortly after midnight on New Year’s Eve. “Nobody has even got a near-fall on me.”

Hawkins concedes that he also hasn’t won any matches all year — indeed, he has not wrestled at all yet in 2019 — but the last eight hours has been the longest duration he has enjoyed without a loss since 2016.

Some wrestling pundits are predicting that, at this rate of improvement, Hawkins will be in the main-event picture by WrestleMania, and — oh, wait, nevermind. He just lost to Zack Ryder at a house show in Winnipeg.
