Following his quick and devastating loss at WrestleMania last week, professional sports-entertainer John Cena is due for a character makeover, and WWE writers have reportedly decided to repackage him as an outlaw biker.

As part of the so-called Superstar Shake-Up, Cena will re-debut as Johnny “Speed Demon” Cena, a tough-as-nailz renegade with a penchant for loud Harleys, loose women and boozy brawling.

The new persona is a stark departure from Cena’s established character — an indefatigable former rapper who shares inspirational slogans on tea towels — but WWE brass reportedly feel his is “overdue” for a revamp.

According to one backstage source, who asked to be identified only as B. Kidman, the repackaged Cena will reform the Disciples of the Apocalypse (D.O.A), and eventually demand a WrestleMania match against the Undertaker.

Although one might expect the Undertaker to resume his “American Badass” gimmick for a biker-versus-biker feud, sources reveal he is actually going to be repackaged as the bounty hunter from Suburban Commando.
