In a press release issued yesterday, World Wrestling Entertainment wished former female superstar Chyna “all the worst in her future endeavors.”

In a stark departure from standard practice, which typically sees the company offer empty platitudes and well-wishes to former employees, WWE wished Chyna “the absolute worst of luck in everything she does.”

The company apparently wants to distance itself from Chyna, whose post-WWE career has been characterized by substance abuse problems, trashy behavior and several forays into the pornographic film industry.

“As a family-friendly company, WWE does not endorse or encourage anything Chyna has done since 2001,” said the press release.

“In fact, let’s all just pretend she never worked in WWE in the first place, OK?”

Chyna’s latest starring film role, in Vivid Video’s 2011 release Backdoor to Chyna, sees the former wrestler engaging in a variety of sex acts, which some viewers have reported to be “remarkably unsexy” and “tougher to watch than her matches against Ivory.”
