WWE cameraman diagnosed with hyperactive zoom disorder

Before he admitted he had a problem, Steve Flynn thought his hyperactive zooming was cool.

Fans of World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) can look forward to more watchable programming now that longtime WWE camera operator Steve Flynn is receiving treatment for hyperactive zoom disorder (HZD).

For more than a year, the rare neuromuscular disorder has caused Flynn to rapidly zoom in and out of WWE matches, particularly at moments when the action reaches a chaotic fever pitch.

“I apologize to any fans who suffered headaches and motion sickness because of my disorder,” Flynn said in a statement issued from his hospital bed.

Week after week, Flynn’s degenerative illness caused him to zoom ever-more wildly, culminating in his unbearably smasmodic filming of AJ Styles attacking John Cena this week.

Flynn hopes to make a full recovery, after which he will focus on taking long, steady shots of Lana’s buttocks.
