When it came to verbal sparring, it became abundantly clear that John Cena was a superior pugilist than foe Roman Reigns, but does Reigns have the gift of gab necessary to trounce a new rival: a half-eaten ham sandwich?

Many pundits believe that Reigns substantially improved mic skills thanks to his wars-of-words with Cena, but there is much debate as to whether he is capable of out-talking the sandwich. 

“You’re just a punk-ass bitch,” Reigns hollered at the sandwich when the two came face-to-crust at a WWE live event. “Half-eaten? Bro, you’re already half-beaten.”

A light murmur arose from the live audience in response to Reigns’ verbal jab, but the crowd truly “popped” when the sandwich responded by slowly oozing mayonnaise with a gentle gloopy sound. 

Time will tell who is better on “the stick,” as they say in the wrestling business, as Reigns and the sandwich are scheduled for a freestyle rap-off this coming Monday. 

The sandwich, meanwhile, is celebrating tonight after scoring a pinfall victory over Curt Hawkins.
