After countless wrong turns and botched entrances, the members of professional wrestling faction The Shield have discovered the route to the ramp toward the WWE ring.
“It’s been so embarrassing to approach the ring through the crowd every week,” said Dean Ambrose, the leader of the group.
“But we’ve got it figured out now — we were making a premature left turn on our way through the backstage area.”
Since bursting onto the scene last November, The Shield has terrorized many members of the WWE roster in their relentless pursuit of vigilante justice. Their inability to take the correct route to the ring — that is, under the Titantron and down a long steel ramp — has made them a laughingstock among WWE crew members.
Although they are aggressive competitors in the ring, Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns have no collective sense of direction. When they finally discerned the route to the ramp, they left a trail of breadcrumbs to help them find their way to it again.
Last week they were transported by helicopter to Monday Night Raw after accidentally showing up at the wrong arena.
