Contrary to popular belief, professional wrestler Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson will not actually be at the MetLife Stadium for his WrestleMania main-event match against John Cena, but will instead perform via satellite.

World Wrestling Entertainment announced on its website today that, due to the demands of an overseas publicity tour to promote G.I. Joe, The Rock will wrestle Cena utilizing a satellite uplink from Australia.

“We regret any confusion, but we never actually said The Rock and John Cena would be in the ring together,” reads a statement released by WWE.

It is unclear how, exactly, Cena and The Rock will put on a wrestling match when they are on opposite sides of the planet.

Many wrestling pundits, however, anticipate that the rematch will still be more entertaining than their bout at last year’s WrestleMania.
