Just hours before he was scheduled to co-headline WrestleMania, professional wrestler and Hollywood actor Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson phoned in sick.

Johnson called a receptionist at World Wrestling Entertainment’s Stamford headquarters to report that he was “feeling under the weather and going to stay in bed.”

Johnson forwarded a doctor’s note to Vince McMahon to prove that he was suffering from “acute sinus inflammation due to a head cold” and had been prescribed “plenty of water and bed rest.”

Earlier today, Johnson tweeted: “Feeling totally blah. Sorry guys — gotta sleep this off. Ugh! Maybe next year.”

WWE announced via its website that Johnson’s replacement in the main event against John Cena at WrestleMania will be Jimmy Uso.
