Since a professional wrestling match seems to be an insufficient way to determine its rightful ownership, the WWE Championship is to be auctioned online on eBay.

The championship, which has a 50-year legacy dating back to the original reign of “Nature Boy” Buddy Rogers, has “become meaningless as a professional wrestling distinction,” according to a WWE press release.

WWE decided to abandon the title after it remained vacant following what the company has admitted was a “ridiculous clusterf***” at the Battleground pay-per-view.

Neither Daniel Bryan nor Randy Orton managed to claim the title, since apparently Vince Russo is secretly working for WWE again.

“It seems we can’t have a simple championship match with a clear-cut winner anymore,” the company said in the press release.

“So we’re just going to stop trying.”

The company also plans to auction off the Divas Championship, because “it never meant anything in the first place.”
