Hollywood leading man Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson confirmed today that he will return to World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) this spring for a once-in-a-lifetime showdown against top WWE superstar John Cena.

“It’s official,” Johnson wrote on Instagram.

“The People’s champ is coming home for an unprecedented showdown against the one man I’ve always dreamed facing — the doctor of Thuganomics, John Cena.”

WWE has already begun promoting the dream match, which will headline WrestleMania 32 in Texas on April 3, with the tagline: “Never Before, Never Again.”

Other never-before-seen matches confirmed for WrestleMania include Sheamus versus Randy Orton, The New Day versus The Usos, and Ryback versus Rusev.

In a press release issued today, WWE also confirmed that the Undetaker will put his legendary “streak” on the line against WCW legend Sting, who has never wrestled in WWE before.
