Though Rob Van Dam’s kicking prowess has often led wrestling commentators to remark about his “educated feet,” the wrestler was disheartened yesterday when those feet defeated him in a battle of wits.

Van Dam, a 41-year-old competitor currently working for TNA Wrestling, failed to outperform his own feet at an online IQ test.

Out of a possible 1,200 points, Van Dam scored a respectable — but slightly below average — score of 773.

His feet scored an impressive 943. After removing his shoes, that score climbed to 988.

Some sources close to Van Dam suspect the occupational hazards of professional wrestling — as well as the numbing effects of his favorite recreational pastime — have killed many of his brain cells, while his feet have become smarter to compensate.
