Fans of World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) are united in saying that Paige went “too far” in her verbal tirade against her rival by mocking Charlotte’s 27 stepmothers.

During the closing segment of this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw, Paige brought an already-emotional Charlotte to tears by mentioning all the ex-wives of Charlotte’s father, legendary wrestler and noted philanderer Ric Flair.

Paige’s controversial tirade spanned two full segments and commercial breaks, as she chronicled the women who climbed — and, for brief periods, remained atop — Space Mountain.

Paige also mocked Charlotte’s siblings, dozens of whom are scattered across the United States and Japan, where father Ric styled, profiled, and stole kisses for decades.

Charlotte eventually fought back, leading to the first-ever WWE contract signing that didn’t go as smoothly as planned.
