World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) Chairman Vince McMahon demonstrated today that he has more in common with the typical fan than one might assume, admitting that he too hasn’t seen an episode of Smackdown in “ages.”

“It’s on Wednesdays now?” said the sports-entertainment mogul upon learning that the program had moved from its longtime Friday time-slot.

“Huh. Well, I’ve Zumba classes on Wednesday nights, so that won’t work.”

McMahon was surprisingly candid during a shareholders’ meeting at WWE Headquarters this morning, telling investors that “Raw is already three freaking hours for crying out loud,” and that “nobody in their right mind would watch more wrestling just two days later.”

Like most wrestling fans, McMahon considers Smackdown a “decent place to catch the occasional Raw recap,” but he doesn’t bother watching it regularly because he knows nothing of any great importance will unfold on the program.

McMahon also referred to NXT as “that thing Hunter never shuts up about.”
