Jimmy Uso confessed he was “as confused as everyone else” when a 12-year-old New Jersey boy with a terminal neurological disorder chose to meet the mid-card tag wrestler through the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

“I just don’t get it,” confessed Uso, whose WWE career has thus far consisted of relatively inconsequential tag matches partnered with his brother Jey. “That sick kid could have met John Cena or CM Punk, but for some weird reason he picked me.”

WWE’s Community Relations team was reportedly taken aback by the request (since no child had ever requested a meet-and-greet with either Uso brother, let alone just one of them) and they offered the boy other alternatives.

But the child, who suffers from a debilitating and typically terminal condition called Lequinn Syndrome, responded that Uso is “his most favoritest wrester in the whole wide world.”

Even more strangely, the boy has shown no interest whatsoever in meeting Jey Uso, whom most fans find wholly indistinguishable from Jimmy.

Admittedly nervous about meeting the ailing child, Uso sought advice from Dwayne “The Rock” Johnston, who has yet to return his calls.
