ALS challenge WWE
The Godwinns have joined the fray of ALS slacktivists.

Former World Wrestling Entertainment Tag Team Champions The Godwinns, in a misguided attempt to raise awareness about motor neurone disease ALS, have performed an attention-getting stunt dubbed The ALS Slop Bucket challenge.

Inspired by colleagues like Vince McMahon and CM Punk, who recorded videos of themselves performing the trendy ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, Phineas I. Godwinn and Henry O. Godwinn doused themselves in a vile gruel of entrails and manure.

“We’z just a coupla country boys, but we’z fixin to raise ‘wareness ’bout amyotrophic lateral sclerosis,” said Henry, before dumping the nauseating bucket of glop over his head.

Added Phineas, who did the challenge naked: “Dang, we reckon y’all oughtta contribute to research ’bout neurodegenerative atrophy disorders.”

Dripping with offal, the brothers challenged fellow wrestlers to take their challenges, suggesting that Perry Saturn take the ALS Mop Bucket challenge, and that Ricardo Rodriguez take the ALS Confetti Bucket Challenge.

All the variations of the slacktivism stunt are equally effective in combating ALS — that is, not at all.
