Former U.S. President Barack Obama, who was “wished the best on his future endeavours” by incoming monarch Donald Trump, has wasted no time in accepting bookings to perform on the independent (or “indy”) politicking scene.

This weekend, Obama is booked in a “Texas Tornado Tag Team Debate” with partner Hillary Clinton against the dastardly duo of George “Dubya Trubya” Bush and Anthony “The Weiner” Weiner, at an event hosted by indy league TNF (Total Nonstop Filibustering).

Obama spent eight years as the “face” of the world’s most dominant politics-entertainment juggernaut, but he actually “paid his dues” on the indy scene of the American northeast decades ago, performing for ROH (Ring of Harvard) and IWA-MS (Illinois to Washington Ambitions – Mission Successful).

Although Obama will no longer have widespread TV exposure, he hopes he will have more freedom to explore his character, perform both babyface and heel, and meet fans at his merch table, where he sells a range of “Yes We Did” t-shirts and signed eight-by-tens.

Obama said he is on “good terms” with the American government and that the “door is open” for an eventual return, but he figures he’ll wait at least four years until the new and raunchy “Attitude Era” of American politics comes to an end.
