Comedian and game show host Drew Carey is confused as to why he never received his formal invitation to participate in the 30-man elimination match at WWE’s Royal Rumble pay-per-view.

“I assume my invitation was lost in the mail,” said the portly Price is Right host while packing a small suitcase with an all-black Adidas tracksuit and running shoes.

“They’re probably expecting me at the arena soon.”

Ever since his 2001 appearance in the Royal Rumble, Carey has mistakenly believed that he has a standing invitation to participate, even though he has been turned away by arena security on numerous occasions.

It is generally believed that Carey suffered a mild concussion during the 2001 Royal Rumble, which somehow triggered his delusional belief that he is supposed to participate in every successive Rumble.
